We had a fabulous stay at Picnic Point. The place was very well kept and the view was superlative. So close to everything – we had heaps of fun. Caught a 3kg Mangrove Jack in the Maroochy River just across the road. Would love to stay again as we were made feel very welcome.

What a brilliant place to come home to after long days at the netball courts (State Netball Championships). Beautiful location, peaceful and soooo warm. Will be back for a weekend of leisure. Just lovely!!
Customer Terms and Conditions/Cancellation Policy
Picture Point Apartments adopts the following practice when dealing with cancellation of a holiday booking.
- If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival there will be a full refund of deposit less an administration fee of $50.00.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the planned date of arrival there will be no refund of deposit unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the planned date of arrival the deposit will be forfeited and in addition, the first night’s accommodation charge will apply.
- An administration fee of $50.00 will be deducted from the deposit held before the remainder is refunded.
Mid and Low Season
- If the booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, there will be a full refund of deposit less an administration fee of $50.00.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the planned date of arrival there will be no refund of deposit unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking. An administration fee of $50.00 will be deducted from the deposit held before the remainder is refunded.
Short Notice Bookings
- Where the booking is made less than 14 days prior to the planned date of arrival there will be no refund of deposit unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking. - A booking that has not been confirmed by a deposit being paid is not guaranteed.
- A deposit of $200.00 will be required to confirm a booking.
- The balance of the tariff is due on arrival.
- If the guest does not arrive on the check in date or cancels less than 48 hours prior to planned date of arrival, the deposit will be forfeited and in addition, the first night’s accommodation charge will apply.
The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting and banking the money, cancelling the booking from the system drawing the refund cheque, mailing the refund cheque with a covering letter and meeting bank charges.
